Happy Birthday little Lucy! We love you!

A New Terabithia!
In our last house in Utah, the kids had a valley of trees behind our house they would call Terabithia. They would love to explore back there and you could see deer out our kitchen window all the time. Now we have another great place behind our house for the kids to explore. At least in the winter time, it's ok... once it gets hot, it won't be deer you'll be seeing but snakes and scorpions. There is a huge wash to the right of our house and if you follow that back, you'll find adventure. Jaidyn and Kallie built a little clubhouse hiding in the trees and shrubs and layed carpet strips on the ground. Isaac made one of his own hiding a little way down from the girls. They wanted this to be a secret clubhouse until they told one kid and that kid told one kid and then their siblings found out, etc. etc. etc. And so, it is no longer secret. All the kiddos come from 3 streets above us to come play and hang out with the cool Proudfit kids. hahaha They saw their friends' clubhouse up there and thought they'd make one of their own down here. Check out Isaac's rules. Love it. no shoes on the bed and only one person at a time.

New Year's Eve Eve
Jas and Shelley came in town and stopped to play. Good times is all I gotta say... when are we going to do this girls weekend thing we've been talkin' about foreva? Jen... Shelley... Jessica? It's always fun hangin' out just us girlies. Anyway, thanks guys for the visit. Come again... real soon, ya hear?

We love having the Gilberts over!
The kids had so much fun together. I don't know why I never take pics of us adults having fun. There was dressup, nintendo, fighting over the massage chair, ice cream, and lots of laughing. We love you guys! Thanks for hanging with us... Oh, and at dinner that night, we had a little wedding announcment... Jaidyn and Andrew announced that they were getting married when they are older. So funny!

Christmas Eve
The kids thought to leave Santa a book to read this time and try a little egg nog to see if Santa would like it. They also wanted to see if the reindeer like ranch with their carrots!

Christmas morning
We had the hallway upstairs blocked off to the kids' rooms so they would have to wake us first by talking into the monitor I left in the hall. That way we wouldn't miss out on their faces when they first saw the gifts. They kept yelling, "Come on mommy daddy! Hurry we want to see if Santa came, It's Christmas!" First thing the kids saw when coming down the stairs were the presents from family and friends under the tree. Santa's presents were by the fireplace in the other room. When they saw the Santa presents they got so caught up in those that they forgot all about the ones under the tree! I wish we could have gotten more pics but there was so much excitement we never got around to taking them. Jaidyn asked Santa for his hat! Yep... you read right... and she got it with a note saying that Mrs. Clause would make Santa a new one. His hat smelled of peppermint and had his initials inside with a bell on the end in the inside. Isaac wanted Heeleys and Kallie froze and forgot everything when Santa asked her what she wanted. She had everything so rehearsed when standing in line and forgot it all! She said, "I want a table." IT WAS JUST LIKE THE CHRISTMAS STORY MOVIE WHEN HE FORGETS EVERYTHING! But what she wanted was baby stuff for her dollies. And I guess Santa thought they had been good this year, 'cause they all got what they asked for.

...and then there was Dagen... she got into her stocking and found a container of cookies Santa left her and was chowing by the table in the other room having the time of her life stuffin' her face.
