ISAAC'S 6TH BDAY PARTY

INDIANA JONES

Isaac turned 6! He wanted an Indiana Jones party and invited his best buds there. We started with watching the dinner scene in Temple of Doom. And after had some of our own crazy scary food like monkey brains (jello), chocolate covered bugs, worms, finger cookies, and brain cupcakes. There was a mummy wrap game, tug of war, pinata, fear factor, and a treasure scavenger hunt throughout the house.

5 reasons why I love my baby Isaac: and one extra reason

1. He comes up with some kind of new trick to show me everyday.

2. His eyes are the handsomest eyes like his Daddy's.

3. He is full of energy and love and one big cuddle-bug.

4. He loves when Mommy tucks him in at night.

5. He is such a good boy and a little gentleman.

6. He is my boy and the only one I've got.

CELINE DION CONCERT

After Jaidyn's baptism, we had all the family hang for dinner at our place and then rushed afterwards to a Celine Dion concert. We took Jaidyn with us and my parents came, my bro Jeremy and Les, and Dave and Heather. It was an AMAZING concert and great seats! Before going in... we walked to a nearby Coldstone and then there happened to be a giant hill of snow someone had brought in for the kids to play in. So Jaidyn was soooooo excited to touch snow... I know... so sad my kids get excited now about a hill of snow.

JAIDYN'S BAPTISM

My baby is just soooooo beautiful in these pictures. I can't explain how beautiful she looked all in white standing in the font looking up at me before getting baptized. And then afterwards talking with her in the bathroom was so special. I was drying and doing her hair when I caught her looking in the mirror and getting teary eyed. She then looked up at me and we both broke down in tears as she told me how happy she was to be baptized.

SCHOOL FATHER/ DAUGHTER DANCE

Jaidyn had a father/daughter dance at school, so Mike went with flowers to her school and asked her in the front office if she didn't already have a date to the dance, if she'd go with him. All the office ladies were almost in tears and awwwwwing the whole time. She felt so special going back to her class with a bouquet of flowers. Later that night, Jaidyn wanted her hair curled with glitter in it and glitter on her face. She looked like a little princess and said she sure felt like one.

When they got home, Mike said she had so much fun and was so worn out that she fell asleep in the car on the way home. Of 'course I believed her so I went up to give her a kiss on her cheek and the girl was FAKING!

MY PARENTS COME IN TOWN

I love when my parents can come visit. It's not very often, with how expensive flights can be. Wish they lived closer. Sometimes things just aren't fair. Usually Jaidyn and Isaac come with me to the airport to get them and this time, they stayed home with Mike and Kallie came alone with me. She got some special alone time with nana and papa.

LOGAN WAS OUR 5TH KID FOR A WEEK

Jeremy and Les came for a couple days and then had to leave for a cruise and left Logan in our care. It was really like having twins. At first the two did not get along at all, taking each other binkies and pushing each other around. But after a day of that, they became best friends and were hiding together and playing in the cupboards.

I loved it! That's all I wanted to say in this post.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! 10 YEARS BABY!

Wanna know how we met? We were both at Ricks College and I was walking home from a telemarketing job (Western Watts) one night and I hear this guy yell from across the street, "have you eaten dinner yet?" I told him, "no" and so he said, "I'll pick you up at 7." He had me over to his place and made b.l.t's and stovetop and the rest is history.

5 REASONS WHY I LOVE MY HUBBIE: and one extra reason

1. He calls me honey even when he's frustrated with me.

2. He is hot and sexy... even after 10 years of marriage!

3. He loves spending time with me and the kids.

4. He brings me up when I am down.

5. He uses the line, "this is a chance of a lifetime," all the time and has made life fun.

6. He is an amazing father and husband!

Snake!!!!

Mike and I were watching Dave and Heather's kids and were getting them all ready for bed when Collin said he couldn't find his pillow anywhere. So Collin and I went looking in the car to see if it was there and on the driveway was a rattlesnake! As soon as it saw us it coiled up and started hissing and rattling. I ran inside shoving Collin in and went in screaming, "Mike, get off the phone, there's a snake in our driveway!" So of 'course Mike had to catch it and stick it in our tupperware to show the kids and Dave and Heather. We finally took it outside and had our neighbor, who happened to be driving by, run it over with their car! I can't handle all these crazy creatures here in Az. Scorpions are one thing but RATTLESNAKES? No more leaving the doors open for a nice breeze.

For our 10 year anniversary, we went and got 1 1/2 hour couples massages and then ate at Pei Wei Diner (my absolute new favorite) and went to the Carrie Underwood Concert. We had floor tickets 8 rows back from the stage with a cat walk right next to us. It was so awesome. She has such an amazing voice. Mike was even able to tap her hand when she was going back to the stage we were so close. Little Big Town opened the show and were pretty good. So much fun! 10 years has gone by so fast... I love you baby! Forgot to mention how proud I was for bringing my camera this time since I had forgotten it for the Colbie Callait/John Mayer concert.... and found the battery was dead after the first pic I took. Wasn't even a good one too. Darnit!

5 REASONS WHY I LOVE MY JAIDYN: and one extra reason

1. She is always worrying whether everyone is happy. If there is anyone unhappy, she makes a special card or does something so nice to make them feel better.

2. She is a beautiful girl inside and out. She has the most amazing heart and is so much like Jesus Christ.

3. She has a wonderful imagination and is always pretending and acting.

4. She has this smile that is sooo big IT'S LIKE MAGIC, how is makes me smile right back at her no matter how upset I may be.

5. She is always cheerfully humming a tune.

6. Everything is an adventure to her.

My baby Jaidyn is now 8. I still can't believe it. All she talks about now is how she gets to get baptized soon. I am so thankful for this sweet child of mine. She is my angel baby. She has such a sweet spirit... always thinking of others and setting a Christ like example for those around her.

Nine days late and after 24 hours of labor and 2 hours of pushing... Jaidyn finally came into this world... a small 5lbs. 11oz. and 19 in long.It wasn't until 4 days later that I was able to hold her for the first time. She was born with meconium and had oxygen tubes, an I.V. pump, and a heart monitor for the first couple weeks.
Mike's mom, Judy, came to help through such a stressful time. Thanks Judy!

Hi Grandma!

Jaidyn's Fairy Tea Party

Jaidyn asked me months ago if she could have a fairy tea party for her birthday. Here I was thinking my baby is growing up so fast and my baby still wants all her friends to dress up. I really didn't think they'd all go for it, but it turns out they all had dressups that still fit so they must all be into to it to. Not just my little Jaidy who is still absolutely obsessed with fairies. I love it! We invited 18 girls and most showed. They all had their face and hair done when they arrived and enjoyed pretty music while eating cutesie fairy food. Everything turned out perfect thanks to my sweet sis in law Heather, who helped the entire time from hair to refilling the tea cups every second with pink lemonade. Everyone had so much fun. Oh... and she got her first Webkinz (if anyone knows what those are). Love my baby Jaidy.
