Sullivan Farms

and Spy Kids Movie

We found a really cute Pumpkin Patch down the street from my parents house.  And even better… FREE!  We had a hay ride, the kids played in a hay maze, and then had the kids each pick out a pumpkin.   IMG_4376IMG_4377

The kids thought they owned this place when they walked into the theater and saw we had it all to ourselves.  Spy Kids was one CRAZY movie!

Mike can’t help but fix everything that needs fixing.  One being this table.  The finish on it wore off and was getting sticky, so Mike redid the whole top.  He did some painting, installed a security system, replaced shower heads, and we all trimmed up the front yard a bit.

Date Night With My Mama…

and time at the park

After the science center, Mike and my Dad took the kids to get pizza while my Mom and I went to Red Lobster and then to see Contagion.  We had so much food!

St. Ferdinand Park was one I’d been to many a time when I was young.  The kids had a lot of time running around, chasing ducks, throwing the ball, and climbing on the playground.IMG_4311IMG_4316IMG_4319

NOT Your Ordinary Monday

We had a set schedule planned for the week, since there were so many places we wanted visit in St. Louis.  And missing the Science Center Saturday, kinda through us off a little.  But we couldn’t miss it.  So we rearranged some things and came back.  We even made it on a day where science booths were set up throughout the 1st and 2nd floors.  The kids participated in creating their own Legos, gold particles, and I don’t know how we missed it last time, but the science lab!  The science lab was amazing!  The kids got to take a swab of their tongue and do experiments with it, take their fingerprints and study them, place colored liquids into teeny containers and mix them to create new things.  It was endless fun!
