Renaissance
Festival
2010
Saturday, on our way to the festival, Isaac points out a car behind us. Ya like it? It’s going for $8,000. Anyone up for grabs?

The fair was just as fun as last year. We were sad though, that we weren’t able to go with Becky’s and Heather’s family the week before. Jaidyn and I had one thing on our minds as we entered the festival grounds. “Twig, where are youuuuu???”
Yes. I was just as excited to see Twig as my Jaidyn was.

Here was Mother Goose…

This man was amazing with his whip tricks. This one is of him whipping a full soda can in half. It split it right down the middle with his first swipe. He later put the bottom half of the can on his bald head and whipped it right off his head.

He even lit the whip on fire. Ooooooh. The kids were enthralled.

They had to be weighed before going on the bungy tramp.

Dagen got a slide burn on her leg on the way down. She was none too pleased about it the rest of the day. Lucky, a lady heard me asking someone for a band aid, and she had one on hand, so I didn’t have to go to the entrance a mile away to the first aid place.

There were shows everywhere and this one was of a guy who could swallow swords and such.
(DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS!)

Isaac is such a stud. He shot one right dab center of the target.
I believe that’s what you call…
a BULLSEYE!

There was a bird show…

And then… finally… there she was… TWIG.

Jaidyn signed her guest book.

The kids enjoyed a few rides….

And Kallie, Isaac, and I, all had a “go” at this rude very insulting man. He called Kallie, “stupid girl” and it was on!!!! Last year, the guy called Isaac a “Princess,” and Isaac supposedly never forgot it, ‘cause he brought it up to the guy before he nailed him with a tomato in his face. Yeahhhh!
He was making funnys about people’s weight, looks, everything. I was shocked. I was really scared of what’d he say to me. He said absolutely nothing to me!
…And I got him just above his forehead.

And then we saw her… a new fairy. Her name is Zinnia, the bubble fairy. She was making bubbles off her hand and giving them to kids.

Jaidyn had to have one last goodbye hug from her favorite fairy.
