My Mama’s
Ham Recipe
This is a recipe my family LOVES. It’s really easy.
Fully cooked boneless ham
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 1/4 c. apple juice (tastes way better)
(you CAN use orange juice though if there is no apple juice.)
1 tsp ground dry mustard
whole cloves
Half the ham is plenty for MY family. Take the plastic wrap off and defrost in microwave.
Put cloves all over and around ham as shown below. There is a little granule ball on the end of each clove that I remove and throw out before placing each one on the ham. Put ham in casserole dish. In a bowl, mix the apple juice, brown sugar, and dry mustard together.
Pour OVER the ham into casserole dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until ham is browned. Flip ham over halfway through baking. I usually baste the ham with the juice every once in awhile.
