Easter Eve and Easter Morning
The kids came home from the egg hunt and swimming all day and needed to get showered and ready for bed. But before going to bed, they needed to get their baskets set out onto the table with grass, and a note if wanted, and a yummy carrot for Mr. Easter Bunny.
Jaidyn lost a tooth on the way home from the hunt. She was chewing on a chocolate caramel candy and next thing she knew, she was tasting blood in her mouth and felt for her tooth. It was GONE! She was about to swallow her candy when I had her spit it out so I could search for her tooth. There it was, inside the caramel! She would have eaten it! She was shocked when I showed her, ‘cause she said her tooth was never loose.
Here’s Jaidyn’s note
Isaac’s note
Kallie’s note
She taped an extra card to her note and drew lines for the Easter Bunny to write back.
And Dagen’s note
She loves to fold her papers and then tape them shut.
The Easter Bunny responded to the notes by telling them his name is Peter Cottontail but his nickname is E.B. for Easter Bunny. The kids could no longer argue the matter. And let me tell ya… there had been much arguing concerning his name.
And then the hunt for their baskets began the next morning at 5:59am.
Why is it always so early?
Then Kallie found hers.
But Isaac was still left searching. HE asked for it!
So we helped him out a little.
