Last Few Days At Sea
The trip was coming to a close and Mike felt he needed to finish strong. So he ordered 4 desserts.
We went to one of their shows and a bunch of Titan guys got called up to be the “man” team against the “women” team. First challenge was to create a paper airplane that flies further than the other team’s plane.
Ralph went first with a pretty good shot.
Nick decided in the last second that he’d crumple his plane into a ball and throw it. Didn’t count, of ‘course.
Mike licked the wings of his and threw it the furthest only to have it return halfway back to him. Very funny.
Girls won that challenge. Next one was the pass the orange with your neck, person to person without using your hands game. Guys won this one.
Then the next challenge was pinch a quarter in your butt and walk to the cup and drop the coin into the cup game. Jason came up with his own strategy to winning this game.
And after many attempts by both members, the guys won! The man crowd went wild.
And that, folks, is why you wash your hands after handling money. You just never know where its been.
Shelley must have been very proud of her husband at this moment. You can see it in her face.
The room on this ship was just beautiful. This was a pic of the ceiling!
Any clue to what this towel creature is?
The gang would get together to play Bananagrams to the wee hours of the night, every night.
Poor Rick got hurt playing basketball with the guys.
How could we go without doing the tallest ice cream challenge? Cruises just give you a lot of time… a lot of time to waste and relax.
Who won? You be the judge.
Dan did an awesome impression of Frank Sinatra in the show that night. He is such a talented guy.
When we got back from our cruise, my parents and Jeremy and Les informed us on the many night terrors Kallie was having all involving a scary dream where Mommy and Daddy are falling off a ship into the ocean. Poor baby. It happened 2 or 3 more times after we were back. She doesn’t remember anything though. We got all the info while she was shaking and screaming in the night.
This is the cute note Kallie gave to me when we got back.
Mike and I are the two on the left of the ship and strangers on the right.
