Birthday Brent

Saturday was another fun family get together to celebrate Brent’s birthday and see their new home they just moved into.  We are sad they now live an hour away. The kids had fun swim time and the girls were having a little modeling show upstairs.

They got a little carried away asking for one more picture… just one more picture.  Now this… Aunt Melody.

We had quite a scare with Lydia.  So thankful everything turned out ok.  The pool in the back is NOT gated and the kids were going in and out all day and somehow when one of the kids went out, Lydia followed behind.  While Mike decided to go out and record Isaac and Collin swimming, Mike heard a splash and then heard the boys yell, “Daddy, Uncle Mike, Lydia fell in!”  Sure enough, there was Lydia struggling to stay above the water.  Mike was able to reach in and pull her out.  Poor baby.  We are assigning someone at all times as lifeguard in the back.  Lesson learned.
